The Leaside Children’s House Preschool Day Camp Difference. What makes a summer camp experience special and worthwhile? Of course it should be fun filled and exciting! However, at our summer camp we believe that it should be much more. It should be an opportunity for each child to grow, explore, develop new skills, be nurtured and form friendships, all within a caring and safe environment. This is the world we are committed to providing at Leaside Children’s House Preschool Summer Day Camp. In doing this, it is our goal to join with parents in creating for their children a childhood that will be full of wonderful “memories that will last a lifetime”. Life in the “Past” Lane
This is for all those “rocking” little geologists out there! The campers will investigate rocks and minerals, go wild with dinosaurs, rumble with earthquakes, and more.
Safety in our Community
Lights, sirens, action! Come join us for Safety Camp and meet firemen, police officers, the rescue squad and more! We will learn about vehicle, water, fire, bicycle safety, vehicle safety features, school bus rules as well as everyday vehicle seat belt usage. Come be safe with us!
Little Einstein’s
We’re concocting smiles as we discover what science is all about. Everyday will be filled with surprises of experiments and growth. We’ll be magnifying everything we’ll even make our own rock candy. Let’s be scientists!
Bugs and Nature
We will search for and learn about the insects around us! Special stories and outdoor expeditions will help us enjoy and understand more about nature. We will have fun visiting Playground Paradise and we’ll be getting our feet wet by splishing and splashing at the Water Pad.

Bubble Magic
Mix a little soap with water and what do you get? Magical solutions for good, clean fun! Take a deep breath and blow into a week that is positively bubbling over with art, science, magic wands, bubble blowers, sprinklers and movement discoveries.
Habitats for Cool Animals
Calling all animal lovers! This is for the preschooler who wants to learn more about animals and where they live. This week also includes a program from WHIMZ live animal presentations.
Let’s Make Music
We will be making a different musical instruments. We will listen to different kinds of music from all around the world. We will make up our own songs, listen to different rhythms and form our own marching band to serenade our fellow campers.
Go Fish!
Fishing for fun won’t be hard as we spend some time learning about fish. You will be hooked by the fish fun and games, make yourself a fishing pole to wiggle your way a fish and even enjoy some fish art. Smell fishy? Guaranteed to be a “whale” of a good time. Don’t let this big one get away.
Blast Off!
The perfect theme for all the space explorers. Up, Up, and away we go to outer space! Looking at planets has never been so much fun as we explore our universe. Stars, spaceships, a trip to the moon and even an alien or two. We’ll be counting down to this week of discovery and star searching! 5,4,3,2,1…Blast Off!

Time: 8:45am-3:45pm Ext. Hrs: 8am-5:30pm (included). Ext. Hrs. 7:30am - 6:00pm also available upon request.
Days: Monday - Friday
Cost: 250 per week or Monthly $900 (lunch included). Part time programs also available! Please contact us for more information.
We will enjoy physical activities, games, crafts, music and stories and play on the playground and splash around in our mini wading pool.
What to bring:
Wear your swimsuit under your play clothes on water days, bring a towel, your sunscreen, a hat and one disposable camera. Please label all personal items.
